摘要：In this talk, Dr. Yin will introduce Transportation Research Part C:Emerging Technologies, and discuss recent research trends basedon papers published in the journal. He will also share his perspective ofediting the journal and provide some tips on improving technical writing. ?
報告人簡介
Dr. Yafeng Yin is an Associate Professor atDepartment of Civil and Coastal Engineering and the Director of TransportationResearch Center, University of Florida. He works in the area of transportationsystems analysis and modeling, and has published over 70 refereed papers inleading academic journals. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Transportation ResearchPart C and serves on the editorial boards for another four transportationjournals such as Transportation Research Part B. He is a member of TransportationNetwork Modeling Committee and International Cooperation Committee ofTransportation Research Board. He is also the President of Chinese OverseasTransportation Association (COTA) whose members are Chinese professionals andstudents working or studying overseas in the transportation or related fields.Dr. Yin has supervised 10 Ph.D. students and six of them now teach in variousuniversities worldwide such as Arizona State, Utah State, Tsinghua and ZhejiangUniversity. He was awarded the Advisor/Mentoring Award by University of Floridain 2012 in recognition of his outstanding graduate student advising andmentioning. ?Dr. Yin received his Ph.D.from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2002, his master’s and bachelor’s degreesfrom Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1996 and 1994 respectively. Priorto his current appointment at the University of Florida, he worked as apostdoctoral researcher at University of California at Berkeley between 2002and 2005. Between 1996 and 1999, he was a lecturer at Tsinghua University.
