報告人簡介：董崇英，國家杰出青年基金獲得者、美國加州大學Santa Cruz 分校數(shù)學系終身教授。主要從事無窮維李代數(shù)和頂

點算子代數(shù)研究，在頂點算子代數(shù)、Orbifold理論以及廣義月光等方面的研究做出了令世界數(shù)學界交口稱贊的工作。他是國際上無限維李代數(shù)和頂點算子代數(shù)領(lǐng)域最杰出的數(shù)學家

之一。1993年以來連續(xù)主持美國國家科學基金，其中近5年主持3項。1985年以來已在國際一流數(shù)學雜志上發(fā)表學術(shù)論文近百篇，其中包括國際頂級數(shù)學期刊《Acta Math.》、

《Duke Math. J》、《Adv. Math》等，總引用超過1800次。在國際同行中具有重要影響，得到包括fields獎獲得者Drinfeld、 Zelmanov和Borcherds以及著名數(shù)學家如Beilinson

和V. Kac等人的重要引用。
