The?lecture?will describe the vessel and the different parts of the vessel; and discuss the different types of operations on-board from internal operations such as in navigation: berthing, unberthing, transit in channels; in cargo care: internal transfer of cargo, jettison of cargo in case of bad weather; safety and security: trainings and drills, ships maintenance, transiting in high risk areas, overhauling of engines and other machineries, dealing with local authorities.
