主講簡介：

Mitsuo Gen教授是進化計算（soft computing）領域的知名學者，著作豐富，其中："Genetic Algorithms and Engineering Design", Jan. 1997 with Dr. Cheng, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., New York, 432pp."Genetic Algorithms and Engineering Optimization", Jan. 2000 with Dr. Cheng, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., New York, 512pp.兩本書被美國等眾多高校列為遺傳算法的教科書，此兩本書目前已經翻譯成中文出版。

Mitsuo Gen教授曾在IEEE Transaction on Reliability, European J. of Operational Research, J. of Operational Research Society, OR Spectrum, Networks, Computers and Operations Research, Inter. J. of Systems Science, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Computers in Industry, Inter. J. of Production Research, Inter. J. of Production Economics, J. of Intelligent Manufacturing等雜志上發表了100余篇高水平論文。

Mitsuo Gen教授學術交往活躍，多次受邀在Univ. of Southern California, Rutgers University, Univ. of Louisville, Univ. of Puerto Rico ，清華大學、西安交大等高校講學. Mitsuo Gen教授目前是Computers and Industrial Engineering, OR Spectrum, Fuzzy Optimization and Decision Making等雜志的編委。
