報告題目：Modular vertex operator algebras associated to the Virasoro algebra

摘要：The vertex operator algebras and modules associated to the highest weight modules for the Virasoro algebra over an arbitrary field are studied. The irreducible modules of the vertex operator algebra L(1/2, 0) are classified. Its rationality is established.

報告人簡介：董崇英，國家杰出青年基金獲得者、美國加州大學Santa Cruz 分校數學系終身教授。主要從事無窮維李代數和頂點算子代數研究，在頂點算子代數、Orbifold理論以及廣義月光等方面的研究做出了令世界數學界交口稱贊的工作。他是國際上無限維李代數和頂點算子代數領域最杰出的數學家之一。1993年以來連續主持美國國家科學基金，其中近5年主持3項。1985年以來已在國際一流數學雜志上發表學術論文近百篇，其中包括國際頂級數學期刊《Acta Math.》、《Duke Math. J》、《Adv. Math》等，總引用超過1800次。在國際同行中具有重要影響，得到包括fields獎獲得者Drinfeld、 Zelmanov和Borcherds以及著名數學家如Beilinson和V. Kac等人的重要引用。
