摘要:This seminar will present an overview on some networkresearch topics in transportation conducted at Utah State University (USU). Itwill briefly cover four research topics: (1) transportation networkreliability/vulnerability/redundancy/resiliency analysis, (2) path flowestimator and its applications, (3) network equilibrium models, and (4)experimental research on pedestrian and evacuation behaviors. Some futureresearch will also be discussed in the seminar.?

Dr.Anthony Chen is a Professor in the Department of Civil and EnvironmentalEngineering and Head of the Transportation Division at Utah State University(USU) in the United States.? ?Dr. Chen was a recipient of the prestigious Faculty Early CareerDevelopment Grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2002. He was amember of the Transportation Network Modeling Committee of the TransportationResearch Board from 1999 to 2009, and an editorial board member of the ASCEJournal of Urban Planning and Development from 2007 to 2014. Dr. Chen iscurrently serving as an associate editor for Transportmetrica A: Transport Science, Networks and Spatial Economics, and Journal of Advanced Transportation, and an editorial board memberof TransportationResearch Part B: Methodological.
