主題：Cultural similarities and differences between USA, UK and Australia
主要內(nèi)容：Having grown up in Australia, SMU English teacher Graham Osborne has an acute understanding of both British and American culture. Australia was for 150 years heavily influenced by British culture before the rise of the USA as a culturally dominant force in the 20th and 21st centuries. Australia has its own unique culture but has taken on board the cultural influences of both the UK and the USA. The lecture will explain the similarities and differences of all three cultures and why this came about.
