報告題目：Lump solutions to partial differential equations
摘要： Lump functions are analytical rational functions localized in all directions in space. We will talk about lump function solutions, called lump solutions, to partial differential equations. Illustrative examples will be given via Hirota bilinear forms, and symbolic computations for lump solutions will be shown through computer algebra systems.

報告人: 馬文秀教授（美國南佛羅里達大學數學系）
報告人簡介：馬文秀教授現任美國南佛羅里達大學數理系終身教授和微分方程研究群主席，上海啟明星學者、德國洪堡學者、中國國家外國專家局特聘教授。畢業于中國科技大學，曾任上海交通大學、復旦大學、香港城市大學數學教授，德國Paderborn大學洪堡研究員，英國Manchestr大學、法國Montpelier大學、加拿大British Columbia大學、美國Minnesota大學等的訪問學者。其研究領域覆蓋應用數學、數學物理、計算機符號計算等方向，是可積系統與孤立子理論領域著名專家。馬教授現已發表學術論文百余篇，現任美國、英國、加拿大等7個國家相關基金會專業評審委員和終審組委員、20多種國際著名科學雜志的主編或編委以及《非線性科學百科全書》可積系統部分唯一華裔特邀撰稿人。
